CCAI workgroups help move the Idaho Comprehensive Cancer Strategic Plan from publication to action. Workgroups bring partners together to coordinate efforts, share updates, identify gaps, and advance practical strategies aligned with statewide cancer control priorities.
Participation is open to partners across public health, healthcare, community organizations, cancer care, survivorship, data, outreach, and related fields.

Prevention Workgroup
The Prevention Workgroup convenes partners across Idaho to align efforts, share data and best practices, and improve coordination of cancer prevention activities. The group focuses on identifying gaps, reducing duplication, and advancing evidence-informed strategies that address modifiable risk factors and strengthen prevention efforts across the state.
Screening and Treatment Workgroup
The Screening and Treatment Workgroup brings partners together to strengthen coordination across cancer screening, diagnostic follow-up, referral pathways, treatment access, patient navigation, and care delivery.
This workgroup supports implementation of the Idaho Comprehensive Cancer Strategic Plan by aligning efforts across the screening-to-treatment continuum. The group focuses on identifying barriers, sharing partner updates, supporting practical solutions, and advancing strategies that improve timely access to cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment across Idaho.

The Survivorship Workgroup advances efforts to improve quality of life for individuals affected by cancer through coordinated survivorship care and support services. The group focuses on long-term outcomes, survivorship resources, care coordination, patient-centered support, and practical strategies that help survivors and caregivers navigate life during and after cancer treatment.
