
About the Coalition
The Comprehensive Cancer Alliance for Idaho (CCAI) is a statewide partnership that leads development and implementation of Idaho’s Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan. The coalition brings together public health agencies, healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and community partners to advance coordinated cancer prevention and control efforts.
Role and Responsibilities
CCAI provides strategic leadership for Idaho’s cancer control efforts by:

Developing and updating the five-year Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan

Aligning partners around shared priorities

Coordinating workgroups across the cancer care continuum

Monitoring progress through defined performance indicators
Organizational Structure
The coalition includes a Board of Directors that provides governance and oversight, as well as priority area workgroups aligned with prevention, early detection and screening, treatment, and survivorship. These groups bring together partners to support implementation of the State Cancer Plan.

Mission
To reduce the burden of cancer in Idaho by convening the cancer community, ensuring that actionable cancer data are accessible to the cancer community, and leveraging our collective expertise and networks to advance the priorities identified in the State’s Comprehensive Cancer Plan.
